General Information
The Journal Φysikotherapia is the official scientific journal of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists. It was published for the first time in 1975 and since then it has been published continuously.
Its mission is to publish studies that will have a significant impact on physiotherapy. Our vision for the journal is its recognition in the scientific community and its inclusion in the clinical practice of Physiotherapists.
Our Editorial Board ensures through a careful evaluation process articles for publication that meet high scientific standards.
The current aims of the Φysikotherapia journal are:
- To publish original research and to promote continuing professional development for Physiotherapists and other Health Care Professionals.
- The development of Physiotherapy as a science, through the publication of research and academic papers based both on their scientific basis and their clinical application.
- To become internationally known through its contribution to the publication of papers that improve physiotherapy knowledge and its clinical application.
The policy of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists, owner of the journal Φysikotherapia, regarding the spread of knowledge and the development of science, is that it should be offered free of charge in the context of the Association's reciprocity to its members. In accordance with this policy, the submission and publication of papers in the journal is free of charge.
The Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists retains all copyrights of published articles, and only with the permission of the editorial director may they be republished.
